Fall has finally arrived and for the first time since May the temperatures have fallen below the 90 degree mark. Aeration and seeding time is here and in full swing, NOW WE NEED RAIN.
IMPORTANT GUILDELINES
lines for fall aeration and seeding and lawn care
1) We only aerate irrigated properties until fall rains come.
2) ONLY after we get in a rainy pattern will we start aerating and seeding non-irrigated properties. 3) Just because the temperatures cool off doesn’t mean that we can aerate, it has to rain.
4) At a minimum we triple aerate (go over the lawn three times) to loosen the soil for good root growth for the young turf.
5) We need you to monitor your irrigation systems functionality. Many times when aerated areas don’t perform as expected, we find that there will be a dry spot in the system due to a broken irrigation head or a faulty zone. We are happy to monitor your system for you.
6) We consider our relationship with you a team effort for your lawn. We depend on you to be our eyes in between our scheduled visits.
