- Leave are starting to fall slowly due to dry conditions, so don’t be alarmed if your usually beautiful fall foliage just turns brown and falls off. Trees will go into survival mode and dump their leaves to conserve water and sugars.
- Now is the time to pay special attention to newly planted trees, shrubs, and flowers so they don’t dry out. Take the time to monitor your plants.
