After this brutal summer’s heat and drought, we are planning for a big aeration and seeding season. We will begin with the lawns with sprinkler systems at the end of August, as long as the weather cooperates.
Our process involves pulling soil plugs from the ground that will leave a void, which in turn closes by the surrounding soil stretching to close the hole. The stretching process loosens the compaction of the soil in between the holes. This gives the grass root system, water, air and vital nutients a better and easier environment to move and grow. The removed plugs remain on top of the ground and will “melt” with watering to make a nice seed bed for the newly sown seeds. Next thing you know, you have a new baby grass that will turn into a beautiful lush lawn.
Let us know if you want us to add you to the schedule.
