Williamson County & Southern Davidson County are under attack by these pesky ants. The weather is perfect for rapid spreading right now. Fire ants can have 20-50 mounds per acre, and we have seen this sort of infestation in the Cool Springs Area. Please look out for these mounds, as the ants can be deadly to humans and animals when bitten. Mounds can be 15” in diameter, 10” in height and 3 feet or more in depth!
