April Showers bring May flowers?
Well Folks, we have had very little rain for April showers. There is a lot of drought stress in the turf and Landscape plants that were installed in the last year are suffering.
Please make a point to have your irrigation fully functional
Water turf only in the morning hours and water your new plants with the hose pipe (irrigation isn’t going to deep water well enough on plants that have been in the ground less than a year).
Fleas, ticks & brown patch
May not only brings Flowers (which if you haven’t placed your order yet give us a call 615-269-7706) but also insects and fungus in the lawn. We have a GREAT Flea and Tick spray program that works great. Call us and we can get you a price over the phone and get the lawn treated ASAP. Brown Patch fungus is a killer in Fescue lawns and can wipe a lawn out in a weeks time. We move fast on this issue.
Also keep an eye out for a card to come in the mail that shows what Brown Patch looks like.
Take a look around your neighborhood as you take your morning or evening stroll. If you see that your neighbor has a disgusting lawn just tell them about good ole Turf Managers.
